2022 COVID Protocols

2022 COVID Protocols

Edited 3/16/22 to update indoor masking rules for St. Luke’s University Health Network and William Allen High School facilities.

For the health and safety of your fellow runners, volunteers and spectators, we are expecting all participants to be fully vaccinated. Learn more about the COVID vaccines and how to schedule a vaccine or booster appointment. In conjunction with public health experts at St. Luke’s University Health Network, we will continue to monitor recommendations from the CDC, PA Dept. of Health and the Allentown Health Bureau and institute appropriate measures on race weekend to provide a safe environment for everyone.

Regarding responses to questions when asked….

Will you require proof of vaccination before registering or running?

Proof of vaccination is not required. We are asking runners to be respectful of the health and safety of others.

Will you require masks?

We will respect any indoor masking policies of St. Luke’s and the Allentown School District.*

As per both St. Luke’s University Health Network and Allentown School District — Masks are optional though still encouraged when visiting the Expo and keeping warm in the gym at Allen High School.

* These organizations may require mask even if guidelines elsewhere say they are not necessary. If you do not wish to adhere to their guidelines we kindly ask that you not enter their properties.
