2020 Race Cancelled

Hello Everyone,

On March 15, 2020, the Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommended that all gatherings and events larger than 50 people be cancelled for the next eight weeks. In accordance with this recommendation, we will be cancelling the 2020 St. Luke’s Half Marathon, 5k, Youth Run and Family Fun Walk which is scheduled to take place over the weekend of April 25-26, 2020. With an event our size, we are simply unable to practice the proper safe social distancing to keep COVID-19 coronavirus at bay.

All of this year’s registrants will receive a coupon code for our 2021 event once registration for that event is open. This coupon code will be good for 100% off your registration fee. Again, while we do not process refunds you WILL be able to race next year’s event for free. This applies to the half marathon and 5k as the youth run and family fun walk are already free of charge to participate.

If you signed up to run the Double Half Challenge we will send you an email under separate cover. No worries, we will take care of you where that event is concerned, as well.

This is not a decision that was undertaken lightly. Thank you for understanding as we navigate these difficult times.

Be safe.

Thank you,

Neal Novak, Race Director, St. Luke’s Half Marathon
Leslie Billowitch, President, Lehigh Valley Road Runners
